The drive to see the penguins was one hour and then we had to walk one-mile up and one-mile back. The wind was blowing so hard and it was so cold that we wrapped the cashmere blanket from the ship over our heads to protect us. That was a lifesaver as I think we would have been very uncomfortable if we did not have that for our heads. Who would have thought we would have needed a winter hat and gloves. But now we know this is the windiest place on earth.
