Our tour today was Beaches of Buzios by Trolly. We took a tender to the pier and then met our guide Theresa for a short walk to Trolley #3. Buzios is a wonderful resort town that has lots of inviting beaches and the Buzios trolley was the perfect way to see this idyllic peninsula. The Trolley was completely open and allowed unobstructed views so we could feel the refreshing ocean breezes although it was cooler today with a high of 86 degrees. As we traveled along the coast we passed 12 beaches and 2 belvederes and had 5 photo stops. We saw amazing views which highlighted the reasons why Buzios is becoming a sought-after destination. It was a two hour tour which ended back in the downtown area where we were able to walk around the town and shop before we caught the tender for a short ride back to the ship. Pat found a beautiful handmade necklace by designer Monica Faingold which was made in Buzios. Walking on the pier to the tender a gust of wind came up and blew Pat's complimentary Oceania hat into the water. It happened so fast there was nothing we could do to save it.
