This is our second day in Bordeaux We had a great tour out to the city of St Emilion today which is the wine district of St Emilion. We saw a medieval underground church built out of limestone four stories deep with vaulted ceilings which was started in the 10th century. Attached to the church were the catacombs where they buried the important people of the day. There were cobblestone streets and lots of wine shop where Jim bought a case (12 bottles) of St Emilion which will last for years. Saw lots of grapes on the vines as they are going to harvest in 10 days. We had a nice time. We went back to ship for lunch.
