Since we are in France we decided we needed to eat our last dinner in Cannes at a French restaurant. On our walk by the sea we came upon a cute restaurant called Aux Poisson Grille and got a nice table for two. They gave us bread with olive tapenade to start and then an appetizer of puréed peas and puréed salmon in a little bowl. Jim had mussels as his appetizer and grilled sea bream for his entree. Pat had grilled pepper salad with some fried cheese and grilled salmon with a cream sauce for her entree. When the entrees came we switched as we both liked what the other had ordered better. For dessert Jim had profiteroles with ice-cream and Pat had a warm fudge cake with a sauce. We shared a bottle of white wine. Everything was good and we felt like we had a very authentic French dinner.
